We are delighted to be leading the BBMF Integrated Support Arrangements Programme for Fighters (BISAP-F) supporting the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) Project Team under a contract known as SHIELD.

Musketeer Solutions will act as Prime Contractor on behalf of the BBMF Fighters Industry Group (B-FIG)—a collaborative partnership of specialist aviation companies formed under a Heads of Agreement to deliver integrated support to the BBMF fighter fleet over the next decade.

Under this long-term programme, the B-FIG team will provide comprehensive support for all BBMF Spitfire and Hurricane aircraft. This includes design and production support, spares availability services, and the maintenance, repair and overhaul of both aircraft and components.

The B-FIG partnership is led by Musketeer Solutions, working in close collaboration with key industry partners, Kennet Aviation, Cranfield Aerospace Solutions, and Retro Track & Air, supported by a wider network of specialist suppliers. Together, the group will deliver the engineering, technical, and supply chain expertise required to sustain the BBMF fighter fleet and ensure the continued safe operation of these historic aircraft.

The BISAP-F solution is built on a fully integrated approach, designed to deliver high-quality, resilient, and efficient support. As Prime Contractor, Musketeer Solutions provides single-point accountability while harnessing the complementary strengths of the B-FIG partnership. By combining technical, regulatory, and supply chain expertise, alongside established MOD and BBMF support credentials and experience, the programme will deliver consistent and effective support aligned with Military Aviation Authority regulations.

This unified model replaces previously fragmented supplier arrangements with a single, coordinated strategy, enhancing collaboration and oversight across maintenance, spares, design, and production activities. The result is a more agile and responsive support structure, enabling the B-FIG team to meet the evolving needs of the MOD while maintaining the highest standards of engineering excellence.
