Mark Hodge, Senior Consultant with Musketeer Solutions, and Jeanne Paul of ASPECT Safety Performance Consulting Ltd have recently been working with the Senior Team at Skycraft Propulsion Systems.
Based on the Hertfordshire/Cambridgeshire border, Skycraft is the UK’s preeminent provider of quality propeller engineering solutions and has a worldwide customer base for its historic aircraft propellers, including The Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
Skycraft already hold a raft of civil and military approvals and it is in support of their application for Military Part 145 approval that Jeanne and Mark assisted in the refinement of the Skycraft Safety Management System.
Working remotely due to Covid-19 but finishing with an on-site workshop at Skycraft HQ, the team guided Skycraft in creating a Safety Management System and supporting manuals that should carry them to Military Aviation Authority (MAA) approval and beyond.
